MULLAPERIYAR

This is an open letter for Honorable Chief Minister's of Tamil Nadu & Kerala

"Beloved Tamil Nadu Chief Minister"

I always admire you as a very bold leader. Probably after Indira Gandhi , Indian history have never seen an iron lady like you. I am communicating to you through this letter with the same feeling what I have when I communicate to my mother.

Amma, do you remember a fax ( fax no : 00 : 34 ) which I had send to your office long back to caution about the kumbakonam fire mishap. But unfortunately no action was taken from government level. And the fire destroyed everything as I feared. I don't want to see anymore crises like that again, so I thought of writing this open letter.

You have lot of positive qualities at the same time you also have some negative qualities like arrogance. This arrogance has created lot of problems to the common people in the society. Beloved "Amma" arrogance will never yield any solution. Being a bold & a strong lady is good, but it should be for a good cause and not for taking away the life of people.

You have only mistaken that Kerala Government is creating fear among its people for political mileage. Leaders of our state, be it any party, are responsible for the safety of the people and they have realised that.

We need the Mullaperiyardam to be re-build at any cost. We want the matter to be sorted amicably as there is no difference between the life of a Tamilian or a keralite. We are not interested in a dispute between Tamil Nadu & Kerala. We are all Indians
and we should always respect each other and give importance for others feelings and safety. We also need your (Amma's) whole hearted support in this process of rebuilding.

Just think about the mental state of the people. Each minutes they are dying out of fear of this “Time Bomb”. Please do remember they are also our brothers & sisters.

If any crises happen all these great leader who had been discussing for days & months shall only be responsible for the loss of the life of almost 30 lakhs of people .

We hope Amma has seen the reports of the geologists about the possibilities of Earthquake in the area of Mullaperiyar dam and its after effects. We cannot afford to happen anything like that.

Water is nature’s gift for Human kind. It neither does have any party’s Flag’s colour nor different colour for different states. Our Government has already promised to supply the same quantity of water as earlier. Then what is the reason behind your objecting the building of new dam.

If you are still stubborn on your decision we keralites will be forced to fight for our right. Please don’t make us do that as we are all peace lovers.

"Beloved Kerala Chief Minister"

Please don’t delay the re-building process as it is the matter of 30 lakhs of peoples life. It is your sole responsibility to safe guard the life of these people. I have already mentioned that there is a crack in Mullaperiyar Dam in 2006 through Anil Nambiyar's interview in surya TV and given another interview to Malayala Manorama channel about the same. Since I was not as big as scientists no one seems to take any action at that time, years after the scientists said the same thing what i have already said before.

Why government is delaying for rebuilding the dam? Is there any financial crises? The estimated amount of 666 crore's required for dam rebuilding project can easily be collected from the public of Kerala itself. Central’s opinion, discussion & sanctioning fund will again delay the matter. Please don't delay the work for heaven’s sake. Dear CM this is the right time to prove what you can do for Kerala.

Note : Each person has the same responsibility about this issue so you all can post your comment as vote "YES or NO" here in this link.

Kindly share this to your friends. Hope this letter may open the eyes of the leaders.

With love and prayers
-Swami Bhadraanand

  1. Isnt it a fact that divers of the Indian Navy did a survey and had reported large cracks underwater? Why did TN government object to that survey if it had nothing to hide?
